The Greenwich Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club of America, a national leader in the fields of horticulture, conservation, and civic improvement. Our purpose is to increase knowledge of horticulture, encourage and develop the art of floral design and photography, work to protect, restore and improve our natural resources, native plants, and wildlife; and engage with our broader community in civic-minded projects.

What We Do

    Whether it is planting bulbs or native plants, the Club has always felt a deep responsibility to our town to make it a more pleasing place for all.

    Conservation and the preservation of open space have been at the heart of the Club since its beginnings. We advocate for the protection of our natural resources.

    We regularly organize hands-on activities with community groups to encourage an understanding of flower arranging, horticulture, and conservation.

  • Floral Design

    Floral Design is an important focus for the Club. Through workshops and sweepstakes, we encourage creative expression through flowers.

  • Horticulture

    Through workshops, speakers, and flower shows, members attain knowledge and a love of growing and gardening.

    Photography workshops and experimentation help to a discover a new appreciation of the natural world around us.
